Re: I have dual citizenship
My mother who was born and raised in the US married a Belgian in Belgium and had two children.
Because she never renounced her US citizenship, both her kids acquired it too, from the mother.
So, I'm Belgian in Belgium and an American living abroad in the US.
Do I know english well enough?
Should I NOT be allowed US citizenship?
I've got a friend who was born in the US because her father was studying there and his wife was there too.
She wasn't at all interested to go and live there when she became an adult.
