Damn right I'm agitating. I'm set to "puree" in my calmest moments.

Interesting use of quotes around the term "leftist," implying that the word has no real meaning in a rational argument. The conceit of the Left that there is actually no such thing as a "left wing" ("nobody here but us moderates and you right-wingers!") doesn't stand up to even the most cursory examination.

I know precisely who I am talking about in the environmental movement, and I know their politics. I have named names and given endless quotations proving precisely what their motivations and goals are: the destruction of capitalism and economic freedom at best, at worst the destruction of industrial civilization. The environmental movement today is largely in the hands of collectivists and Marxists who are often refugees from places and institutions where they are no longer wanted.

The nice thing about working on behalf of trees and seals is that unlike human beings--like those in Eastern Europe--they are not likely to express their gratitude for your disastrous "ministrations" by putting you up against a wall. You can ascribe any motivations and goals you want to a redwood, and do anything you want in its name, and it will never express its own mind in contradiction or do anything against you. The perfect proletarians.

I see no reason to give quarter to those who demand the extinction of myself and my family, which is the inevitable outcome of attempting to throw the population of the world into a Third World existence.

I will admit freely to "long-winded." I don't know about "boorish"--"unrefined" might be more accurate. The concept that any conservative or libertarian philosophy must, by definition, be "intellecually discredited" is also an old weapon of the Left ("all conservatives are stupid"), and doesn't work that well any more either. Too many people have seen what actually happens when the Left is in charge, and their beautiful intellectual theories aren't selling that well any more.

As for "unfriendly," you might want to ask yourself what I said in these posts that puts you personally on the defensive, and where your own intellectual and philosophical base is. Heck, I don't give half the people who need it half the reamings they deserve.
