<People who support the Sierra Club, Greenpeace, etc.....aren't interested in the destruction of you or your family.
What they DO want are some brakes to unbridled destruction of our natural resources. They want accountability, with pollution controls. They want to reign in the rape of our land by big mining and lumber companies who get their way by paying off those who write the laws.

This isn't going to put us back into the Stone Age, Tom. If anything, it's like safety manufacturers wanting seat belts or air bags in a car. It doesn't mean they don't want you to drive. It means they want you drive SAFELY.

Most of the people who support the environmentalists with their checks, volunteerism, and political support are largely ignorant of the real motivations of the leadership, and rarely look beyond what shows up in the colorful ads. Most of them would be shocked at what the leadership really has in mind.
