It's statements like these that make it impossible for any person to rationalize with you.
People who support the Sierra Club, Greenpeace, etc.....aren't interested in the destruction of you or your family.
What they DO want are some brakes to unbridled destruction of our natural resources.
They want accountability, with pollution controls.
They want to reign in the rape of our land by big mining and lumber companies who get their way by paying off those who write the laws.

This isn't going to put us back into the Stone Age, Tom.
If anything, it's like safety manufacturers wanting seat belts or air bags in a car.
It doesn't mean they don't want you to drive.
It means they want you drive SAFELY.

I wonder, is your wife timid and accomodating?
How she puts up with your hysterical ranting is beyond me.
You're going to give yourself ulcers soon enough.
And her, a headache (but I'm sure you get that all the time.)
