Our library here takes a very dim view of cell phones, and I switch mine off or switch it to "vibrate" before I go in. Same with theaters, or anyplace else where I have the option of leaving the room quietly to take a call. In places where leaving would be difficult, or rude, I switch it off. The phone takes messages. Now how hard is this? This isn't exactly brain surgery, folks.

While I use the phone for business, few of my calls are so urgent they can't wait. However, the phone is worth its weight in gold in keeping touch with the kids when I'm not at home. I am a lot more secure knowing they can get in touch with me any time.
