Re: Michael Moore on violence
I'll have to admit to being mesmerized by Moore's Roger and Me. I was studying film production at the time and it seemed to me a tour-de-force. There was a freshness and a vitality and a pure, Bowser-like audacity that--even if you disagreed with his point-of-view--was admirable.
I was terribly disappointed by his television show. He's since turned anti-capitalism into a cottage industry, which I think is beyond ironic.
It seems to have gotten to the point that he stirs dissent for two reasons: 1) because he's good at it, and 2) because he can turn a hefty buck by doing so.
But, in a free society, I guess it's all good.
