<One thing I've enjoyed for much of my adult life is watching political conservatives who regard themselves as better Americans than anyone bitch about taxes and the draft or other service.

If they had their way, these "patriotic" Americans would not pay taxes nor would they bodily defend their country. And they consider themselves "better" than others.

A good two thirds of military voters vote Republican, which pretty much drops a big, squishy water balloon on that little theory, doesn't it?

When you pay as many taxes as I do, yes, I admit I do get a little bitchy about it, especially when the ones who suck up the money spit in your eye for your trouble.

And liberals calling others elitist is a hoot.
