You don't complain about CEO's of failed companies or monopolies, but lawyers can't make a few bucks?

How about the drug companies? Uncle Sugar funds the vast majority of drug research through universities, and the drug companies come along, license them, then sell them to the people who paid for most of them for 3 to 10 times what they charge the people in countries who DIDN'T pay for the development.

Nope, those lawyers are as entitled to their ill-gotten gains as is Ken Lay, Merck, Dick Cheney, etc., etc.

If you're going to have any principles in this you've got to have some continuity, some standard besides perceived political affiliation. I would think the principle of "any buck, any way, any how, is still a buck" would be universal.

Go figure.
