<What's fraudulent and deceitful about the obscene fees made by asbestos lawyers?
As with many such cases, the science is fraudulent, as well as conclusions based on that science. Another good example is the continued suits against the breast implants, even after new information proved they were not the problem.
And I'm not discussing the morality of campaign contributions, or claiming that only Democrats get them, I was just pointing out the lawyers' cash flow into the political coffers as one reason why tort reform is going to be an uphill battle.
