<Yep, I was in error about Rumsfeld, who was a Naval aviator '54-'57. I took columnist Margolis's word for Rumsfeld's lack of service, and I'm suprised he made such a mistake, but it's always best to double-check. Mea culpa.

Don't beat yourself up too bad. If we all doublechecked every fact in every article we referenced, we would get out about one post a day. That's why we're all checking up on each other, and why most of us are careful about our sources.

I'm not that generous with Margolis, who should know better.

Could be a mistake by somebody who doesn't pay much attention to facts when he's trying to make a point. Or it could be a lie based on an audience he knows won't check.
