Oops -- can't read my own writing
Not Current Biography, but Contemporary Authors. They're both published by Gale. I'd spent most of Saturday in biographical dictionaries helping kids find information on US Presidents and on inventors, so CB was stuck in my head.
Just as an aside: a complaint and a pithy rejoinder overheard concerning MLK Day:
Mother of kid doing research: "The kids are off school on Monday for Martin Luther King's birthday. It seems like there's something for everybody except white guys. When do white guys get a day?"
Another mom of another kid: "We have one. It's called 'Presidents' Day'."

Sometimes I don't have to say a word. And that's a good thing...
