My neck of the wood's is very wooded. I live on he southern edge of the East Texas piney woods- the same woods shuttle debris searchers are combing through.
Anyway, they’ll tear down thick woods to put up stores and huge parking lots. Some stores are leaving trees but most aren’t. On a hot summer Houston day, everyone wants to park in the shade.
