I am not crazy about either idea. They lack something. The Think one is an interesting idea, but it is not very practicle.
The other one needs to be taller and stand above the rest of New York. Building a replacement for the Twin Towers that is smaller then the origional looks like we are cowering down and we are afraid to rise above what we once were.
I think they should just rebuild two buildings that look like the original two, with some modern upgrades on the inside. This would be a sign of strength as we thumb our nose at the terrorist.
Getting people to rent out office space may, or may not be a problem.
