after all, who wants their roof to cave in at the first snowstorm or blow off in the breeze. Like anything else, it can be taken to extremes. Just because I like a steak now and then doesn't mean I want a cow crammed down my throat.

Zoning laws have their place as well so long as they're not abused. Unfortunately, good intentions and busybodies have the tendency to abuse things.
