Heaping piles of irony

It's clear you don't know the meaning of schadenfreude, and you're trying to fake it. I made a point of defining the term in my post: "glee at the misfortune of others". Unusual examples of threats of violence from leftists are non-sequiters. As a vivid example of genuine schadenfreude, we need look no further than your post taking pleasure in the prospect of the death of 70 million Frenchmen.

Threats of violence from liberals are unusual enough to be memorable. On the other hand, threats of violence from the conservatives are so common as to be routine, and rarely even draw comment. Consider the Rightist fondness for labelling contrary views as treasonous, and anyone who disagrees as a traitor. The US Consitution provides the death penalty for treason, which makes the Rightist use of "treasonous" and "traitor" a not-very-subtle wish that your opponents could be taken out and shot. But that's just par for the course with Rightists. Belligerance is the conservative norm.

Zeroing in closer to home: I'll bet that to this day you don't understand why symbolically brandishing a trench knife against another poster here at the "Habitable" Zone might be interpreted as a threat of violence. How are the words "shoot him with a .44-caliber Bulldog revolver" different from a picture of a trench knife posted as your reply to someone with whom you're arguing?

Irony as far as the eye can see. You're the last person who should be throwing stones at liberals for threatening violence.
