Growing up, I never questioned my parents political opinions (though they really were not the same), but when I encoutered many other students, at the university, from different backgrounds and even different cultures, and discussed politics with them, it helped expand the horizon!
At the university, we didn't just learn theory, but also how to acquire critical thinking and who the other guys and girls were.
