Whe're talking about millions of taxpayers who aren't impressed.
Hi, Raoul.
I'm forced to ask: How, Raoul,
would you promote interest among
taxpayers in those extraterrestrial
"rocks"? Most people only see the superficial: to them one rock
is no more impressive than another;
to them, "a rock is a rock".
And even if you could promote interest
in ET rocks among the hoi polloi [perhaps by teaching them about their geological uniqueness or the possibility of their possessing microbial life] they may say
"That's nice! That's interesting!", then 24 hours later their bored, and may seek some more 'exciting' diversion or interest on television or elsewhere.
