Like the plywood "Mars Station"?

Mark,

When I was a kid, I too liked to play "spaceman". I had my mother sew me a really cool spacesuit, and I built a wooden spaceship that I pretended went to all the planets - including Mars. Funny thing is, this sounds exactly like what is going on with the Mars Society Arctic Research station!

"Commander" Zubrin as he actually refers himself, can be seen in the link below his "authentic Mars" canvas spacesuit, playing with a little army tank-like rover in the Arctic. Do you really think this is serious Mars research? This is nothing but a publicity stunt.

Shouldn't you leave this to the NASA professionals who have real spacesuits and spaceships? It really looks kind of silly from my point of view. However, it does bring back some fond childhood memories.

"Hey Johnny, wanna come over a play Mars spaceman with me? Aww..c'mon Johnny, we can go to Mars and back before dinner!"
