what is acceptable at MSNBC is not neccesarily acceptable here. I see some folk using aliases everynow and again, but they aren't trying to push serious science. . . they aren't trying to be deceptive, most times I see it as a joke (especially when they make a funny post under an alias). . .
Or I find it acceptable when someone trys serious science and sticks to the pseudonym they always do. . . just so people know whose doing the posting, and thta one person is not trying to gain credibility by acting like two seperate people.
I am aware of (strong) circumstancial evidence the you had once used an alias for this purpose, I personally don't aprove of this tactic, whether others do is up to debate, but I would suggest no one try it just in case. I am willing ot apply a clean slate here.
Also Gary has used his full name here before. whether he still wants to is up to him.
