The point is Mother Earth has some ability to care of herself and we are not likely to do irreversible damage to the environment just by living here.

It would be interesting to see a projection of the effect of warming with no increase of Co2. Polar melting would cause some problems but an increase in temperate zones would be nice. How would it effect equatorial climate?
