If you read my comment more carefully you will notice I never once used the word "rain"

I deliberately used "precipitation" to cover solid as well as liquid H2O. I also tried to show why none would be produced in the areas under study, and why the article is misleading.

If you choose to take personal umbrage, that is your loss, not mine.

Rest assured that I will continue to make comments about allegations of water on present or past Mars, where I feel that the case is being misrepresented.

Other than that, I will not respond to simplistic ad hominem attacks, no matter how banal and inaccurate they are.
