The horrible cloud layer disappeared late last night and the sky turned crystal clear. Woke the kids up about 3 AM and we watched meteors for about half an hour before we all froze up. I have never seen so many in any previous shower. Lots of quick fast ones, with green trails that dissipated after a few seconds. I was hoping for a really good bolide, but didn't see any. My daughter went back to bed and watched meteors out her window for a while.
Great show! Hope the ISS crew is breathing a little easier again...
