Re: Space News & BBS Recommendations?

"7) Nasawatch: (http://www.nasawatch.com/index.html)
why?: A great source of insider news and gossip. The amount of gossip is a negative for me. It turns out wrong a fair amount of the time, but you may often hear news first from NASA watch. Beware of Keith's penchant for jumping on anyone in an authority position. He can really get you down on someone if you don't keep in mind everyone makes mistakes. He won't be pointing out the successes of those people in the same article."

NASAWATCH is the best source of News if you are interested in what's actually happenning in our Space program (NASA). Cowing has stood up for various (and all) employees of the agency and as a result this has given him unique access. And he is interested and has been interested in this agency, thereby become an expert in this area. As far as Keith's perchant, he does jump on someone IF they seem to him to be ABUSING their authority position. It seems to me that these same people who are being criticized would be doing themselves a favor if they valued this criticism by examining it, rather than trying to run from it.
As far as "balancing" an article by "pointing out the successes", I don't think this is necessary if the "viewing public" are adults.

As far as a rating system, Bay Watch is number one.
