The Economist, BBC, NY Times, Washington Post, Washington Times, NPR, PBS, Discovery Channel, CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, CBC, NHK etc (long list) all have quoted me - and do so repeatedly. I have been asked to testify before Congress and have been cited repeatedly in open testimony by members of Congress from both parties. I doubt all of these people and publications would risk possible embarassment if NASA Watch wasn't reporting things credibly - and in a fashion worth noting - one they consider worthy of merit by means of citation. Traffic continues to grow - not decline and it is read all over NASA, Congress, the media, industry and even at the White House. I don't know why it is so popular other than the fact that I just post what I think or know and admit mistakes when I am wrong.
Mark admitedly has a limited data set to sample vis a vis NASA Watch's overall popularity. All I can say is if I were as odious and contemptible as Mark suggests, none of what I mentioned above would have happened - or continue to happen.
Grondine will no doubt post something pithy at this point....
