"I suggest you look up the terms balanced and objective reporting."
Well, I guess you *could* call Fox's story on the Moon landing being a hoax as "balanced and objective reporting"- after all the news media had been grossly biased in presenting the Moon landing as a real event:).
Personally, I would be more impressed with reporters finding out what is true, then having the guts to tell it as they see it.
"Not all NASA employees like Keith's reporting and not all think it is fair. I have no idea what the proportion is because my own contacts are admittedly far less than Keith's. I did have a conversation with someone at JSC recently while on business in Houston who felt both Zubrin and Keith were overly harsh on Goldin."
Well, I agree. But I'm sure you could find more people who thought that Goldin was "overly harsh" with them. If Goldin happened to actually be a really nice guy, I might be more willing to condemn Keith for being so harsh.
"You can rest assured the employees that want to bitch value Keith as an outlet for their venting and I'm sure most of NASA employees are aware of him. I think NASA watch is of value because official press releases are not balanced either."
REALLY, you don't say!:)
"The negative stuff Keith exposes is unlikely to get publicized any other way. Keith's site and more positive ones are needed to get a balanced view of what goes on at NASA."
I would add that it's REALLY REALLY "refreshing" to have a free press- the more the better.
