Re: How we lost 1,000 years worth of science

Not just science - but much of ancient history as well.

The dynasties of Egypt and interactions with contemporary cultures were chronicled there in extensive detail.

Any knowledge and whereabouts of the fabled Atlantis or Lemuria or any other large pre-Egyptian cultures was probably lost at this time too.

Archaeologists are constantly revising the time man used tools, was civilized, etc.

Each new discovery is making Egypt look like just one of several advanced early civilizations and not the earliest.

Man's inhumanity is only equalled by his humanity. For each page burnt in hatred by one person or a group of person's - there are countless thousands who have mourned its loss and tried to make up for it by ensuring that knowledge is dispersed far and wide, preserved for the future.

So in this way great evil is turned into greater good.

Take care Raoul,
