Question about Hubble, Raoul.

Hi, Raoul.

I remember last time Hubble was serviced that they/astronauts fastened a protective thermal blanket around Hubble. I didn't see this blanket this time around when Hubble docked with Columbia. Did I miss something? lol

Also, after this mission, I've read that all major Hubble parts will have been replaced. Can't wait to see that first photo! If they do start to take pictures soon, I hope they will do so while Hubble is still docked with Columbia to see if everything worked out as planned. *g*

Cheers,

Marcia

  - It would be a waste if technology suceeds us that way. - Marcia - 3/6/2002 1:40:37 PM
    - Limited funds and bandwidth. It'd be foolish to sink NGST (a superior insrument) due to Hubble nostalgia. (n/t) (n/t) - ectoterrestrial - 3/6/2002 1:47:59 PM
      - Yes, it would. Even more so if Hubble is still operating, nostalgia is low on the list. - Marcia - 3/6/2002 3:30:54 PM
