I think you and everyone else should have the option

It will be a difficult road because the politico's in Washington already hate motercycles and anything else that gives you the freedom of travel from "undertermined point A" to "undetermined point B".

They would prefer that all of us stick with mass transit ("Set point A" to "Set point B") so that we can be controlled and monitored like cattle.

Ah but then I'm starting to sound like Dan...

I guess what I'm really trying to say is:
How economical will this thing be when they force the manufacture to make it as "safe" as any other car on the road. When it can never be as safe as any other car on the road...Don't get me wrong, I think that you should have the option to take as much risk as you would like...The problem is, we have a government that thinks you and I are ill equiped to make the decision for ourselves.

I suspect that the "IT" thing will run into the same difficulties. There's a government bueracracy that thrives on STOPPING change. Hell you can't drive a moped without an orange flag on it...pretty much killed the moped business. I can't remember the last time I saw one in my neck of the woods.
