What the minimum G requirement is to stave off ill effects from lack of gravity is a very important question. I have heard some people theorize that anything less than a normal 1 G will eventually be a problem. Others think that even a lunar gravity level would do the trick. All of them--lacking real data--are of course guessing.
This satellite might answer some of this question.
