Good points about the excess of water. Interesting read.
But since I'm no planetologist, so most authorities could make a rational case for just about anything that does not defy physics in an assertive manner and I'd hafta give it some credence.
In any case, skepticism such as yours even if wrong, forces the advocates of a model to make their case more bullet proof.
