A new view on the sun and warming...

<One takes a look at this...

...and one sees that extreme temperatures are occuring in areas largely unaccustomed to them.

It is not greenhouse gases which change from day to day over these regions - but simply the SUN's energy which changes.

Interestingly enough, the sun is right now about as far away from the earth as it gets upon its elliptical journey.

This puts the relationship between the sun and the earth in a very interesting light. When we reach the polarized extremes of the revolution cycle - we see an increase in radiation absorption.

In other words it is not distance from the sun which seems to determine our radiation input - it is our position in the CYCLE!

Put in another way... imagine a hurricane...

In the eye of the hurricane - energy moves slowly - but on the outer perimeter it moves more rapidly.

Once the earth moves out further away from the sun - the energy rates seem to increase, ergo hot as Hades temperatures.

Yet SOHO detects little increase in solar output in as far as we can measure these things - so what is occuring?

Here's another mental picture...

Imagine the sun as if it were a giant Saturn. (not the car - the planet ;-) Complete with rings at its equator.

Each of these solar rings are a band of energy. We shall say the sun has "field rings" and each of these rings has its own subharmonic frequency and signals.

Let's imagine that some of these rings are more conducive to energy absorption from the sun. Why? Well, what is it that makes a hurricane move things faster on the perimeter?

It is the ol' wagon wheel concept - wherein a spokes speed at the center is much slower in rotation than at the outer ring.

So solar energy may pick up an extra zing as it enters this subharmonic field ring.

Indeed, mars atomosphere being ripped from its surface - may have been the result of the way solar energy interacts at its position from the sun - and may have had nothing to do with greenhouse gases AT ALL.

Just thought I would throw this one out there....let everyone chew on it awhile.

There's still an infinite number of more questions than answers.

To assume greenhouse gases are causing global warming seems, IMHO to be the wrong answer - and barking up the wrong tree for a real solution.

Why is this so important?

Because it means we could waste twenty years reducing CO2 and other emissions with feel good science used in the Kyoto treaty and find our world hotter than ever - perhaps even destroying ourselves by taking out gases which interfere and block the suns rays.
