If you hit the asteroid many years ahead of time with a nuke you have a chance... I REALLY "loved" the nbc version where a f16 outfitted with a "laser" blew up the offending asteroid, the size of pikes peak.... also loved the product placement where granpa and grand son find diet pepsi... most retarded show ever... Also the asteroids only seemed to hit one area... The broadcast companies should be held responsible for B.S.!!! I watched it for laughs but got very angry at the BS they were promoting
