Going to Mauna Kea next week!

WOOO HOOOOOO!!!

My best friend lives on the big island and my girlfriend and I are going after summer school ends next week. I am in the midst of making plans to tour the observatories.

I'll be on the big island until the evening of the 12th, so I'd like to see if we can get a tour on the night of the 11th (I know they do give night tours, but I don't kow about on Sunday nights) so that I could see some of the Perseids... wouldn't that be just awesome???

Anyway, if the tour plans go through, I'll post some pics for y'all in the coming weeks when all the excitement is over...
