yes, i have heard about the stop over at some given altitude for adjustment... thank god i don't smoke anymore!!

and about the car deal: i'm going through an agency that does these tours professionally, they provide 4wd drive van transportation, food and the much needed parkas...

my friend that i'm staying with has a 4wd ford explorer... i have never seen the road myself... is it possible for any joe schmoe to just drive up the road themselves, or is it allowed only by special permission?
