A tough call

Of all the real UFO's, the black triangles are the most likely, imo, to be of terrestrial origin. That said, the gist of this article seems plausible to this observer.

However, if the black triangles are heavy lifters, then why would the Army be right in the process of lightening up to less bulky combat vehicles? Taken from that angle, the heavy lifter aspect of this black triangle theory seems weak. (Or maybe the DoD is just trying to pull a fast one - to have it's cake and eat it too. Keep the Abrahms AND get the the newer, lighter tanks in the bargain.)

Of course, there are many things - like soldiers, bullets and fuel - which the Army would like to be able to move around in large quantities from this theatre to that, no matter how heavy or light its tanks, so there is always going to be a need for transport. In fact, critics have long identified marginal transport assets as a weak link in the military's logistical chain.

It's a tough call.

Based on reports I've read, I think the black triangle technology is probably within our capabilities, but the operational characteristics of the BTs as reported by the witnesses do raise questions, such as: what are these things doing loitering around over urban areas, to say nothing of Belgium, lit up like a christmas tree in some cases?

Perhaps the black triangles have a mission which has nothing to do with transportation, but a lot to do with surveillance and intelligence-gathering, although, again, it's difficult for me to identify a rationale for the intermittant appearance of these things in plain sight over large urban areas with no apparent attempts at stealth. Perhaps there is some psychological warfare function to this aspect of the BT mystery.

Whatever the truth is with the black triangles, it's important to bear in mind that many other shapes and types of UFOs are being seen and reported from all around the globe, and some have been for centuries, if not longer.

There's no way these other types such as the familiar flying saucer, cigar, sphere, bell and other shapes can be the property of the USAF or any other known terrestrial force.

Reports of these types date from antiquity, while the BTs are a relatively recent phenomenon, dating back only to the 80s or possibly the late 70s.
