There have also been reports that are wildly hyped when first reported, but few news agencies wildly hype the results when they turn out to be the bellies of geese reflecting sunset, or city lights. You'll get 10 to 20 reports of anomalies, but only 1 factual explanation, which justly kills the "news" story, but not the scammers.
