Thanks, Marc. My main problem with having both organizations is we both will be asking for donations from the same sources at a time when they have become tightfisted. Besides the posting directly to Mars Society Task Forces when it would have been better to send the PR to the leadership to distribute.
The Mars Institute isn't by necessity a bad idea, just I think your timing stinks and your Press Release was slightly offensive to me.
