The Mars Society/The Mars Institute
I have noted some correspondence regarding the relationship between individuals in these two organizations and the organizations themselves, some of it not of the highest tone. Let me state that The Mars Society supports research and development intended to forward the cause of Humans to Mars. We have a healthy, active membership with diverse points of view and much passion. We have accomplished many things over the past five years. But we do not claim to have exclusive rights to do research or promote development of Mars related research. We welcome any entity which can help forward this cause and encourage members of The Mars Institute team to work energetically towards the goal.
