seeding Europa

Microbial life? What's the likelihood more advanced forms could survive?

Would it preclude the possibility of life eventually rising there of its own accord?

Also, what would be the point? To turn Europa into an organic cauldron? Would it simply be an experiment, carried out primarily because it was possible?

And what responsibility would we take for the ecosystem we'd have created? If it began to collapse, would we be ethically obligated to work for its survival, or would we sit back and watch it die?
