<I should add, in fairness, that some of my colleagues are a little unimpressed by the images and feel that they are not overwhelmingly conclusive.
When are colleagues ever impressed, or feel a paper is "overwhelmingly conclusive?"
LOL! There has to be some sort of international law forbidding such behavior.
Your opponents (aka colleagues) will look for weaknesses in your paper immediately and your scientific friends will make noncommital soundings of vague support and encouragement - vague enough so they will not be brought down with you should you be wrong, yet there to pretend they knew it all along if you turn out to be correct.
Oh well.
