Re: Life on Earth

500 million years? I'm not going to sweat it. There's a lot of technological advancement between now and then.

"Hey, Fred, the Sun's running out of hydrogen. Should we refuel it, or just get another one?"

"Well, I've thought about getting another one. More expensive than refueling, especially if we pick it up from those guys over at that star cluster, but there's a lot of other stuff breaking down, and maybe it's time to take the plunge."

"Well, maybe we could just move Earth over to that empty system near here. That star's got a good two billion years left on it.

"Yeah, and we'd have to take all the other planets too or they'd bitch about being left with the wet baby."

"Decisions, decisions. Well, let me know before another million years goes by. It ain't gonna get any cheaper."
