Very true, Bowser.
It's all a matter of scale and timeframe.
Very few realize how long this or that takes.
What I find interesting, for instance, is the perpective any intelligent successor will have about our times.
They might be closer to machines than humans and might think the first object in space or on the Moon is more significant than the first human in space or on the Moon. In that case, Russia gets all the credit.
