Re: Yes I do love Food Irradiation

It is obvious that the irradiation ‘kills’ whatever ‘life’ there might be in the food. We know that ingesting some forms of life, like bacteria, can be detrimental to human health.
I am not a biologist but I have read somewhere that there are beneficial or ‘good’ bacteria in many foods. The question then is: Must the ‘good’ bacteria be ‘alive’ in the food source to be beneficial?

Cheers
