Well, since the Europa Orbiter project...
is in so much trouble, the new one may be the only show in town. Is EO even funded anymore? Seems it has flipped on and off more than once, so I don't know the current status of the project. Even if EO is on, it'll be quite a few years before it'll be launched and it'll take a long time to get there using the slow flight approach, it's possible that the new one might get to Europa about the same time the Europa Orbiter is projected to arrive.
