Re: Space debris

Let's suppose a space debris hit the back side of Columbia's left wing.
It would mean a tile or more got loose and floated away from the Shuttle.
It would depend on the Delta V from the Shuttle, but every once in a while, the spacecraft did turn around or TV cameras where pointing in all kinds of directions.
Perhaps, an object was spotted in one of the images taken by the TV cameras.
But at present, nobody has noticed anything of the kind and neither did the astronauts.
