that this guy is sadly misinformed. I opened his second link and the first sentence was "Now that we've proved that Democracy is the best form of government, ..." I didn't bother to read any further. There is no true democracy anywhere on Earth larger than say, a New England town council. Neither the United States nor any other country is a true democracy. We're a representative republic. In a true democracy, every citizen gets to vote on everything. The US never has been and never will be a democracy. If he can't get that simple detail right, I don't see spending the time to read any more of his drivel.

Someone in an earlier post made an excellent remark about democracy (it was probably Tom) - "Democracy is three wolves and two sheep voting on what to have for dinner." In a true democracy, there is no protection of any type for minorities.
