It was a fundamental error of political nomenclature. He was either grossly ignorant of the proper terminology or was setting up straw men so he could knock them down. One is the act of a poorly educated person, the other an act of an intellectual weakling. Neither is worth my time.
Yeah, if I picked up a math or science book that make that serious an error in the opening paragraph, I'd put it back as not being worth my time. There's too much crap in the world already for me to encourage the production of more. There are too few minutes in a day to waste on obvious crap.
