After all, many people of faith such as devout Moslems could be offended by the song's lyrics. We all know how we must not offend people, especially Moslems. If we "imagine there's no heaven" and "no hell below us, above us only sky", isn't that the same as imagining there is no God? The song directly says, "And no religion, too". Yep, there are no doubt millions of people who're offended by this song on religious grounds.

JOHN LENNON; IMAGINE

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today a-haw

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace a-haw

chorus;
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No ween for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the peolLE
Sharing all the rorld a-haw

chorus
