Where did you ever get the idea that liberals promote, condone, or advocate the use of armed violence? Further, you seem to nuture the mistaken idea that the Left and Liberalism are the same thing.

Since you seem to have no accurate understanding what these concepts really mean, allow me to quote for you the definitions of liberal and liberalism from my great big ol' 15 lb. American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language:

liberal - 1.a. Not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry. b. Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded.

liberalism - A political theory founded on the natural goodness of human beings and the autonomy of the individual, and favoring civil and political liberties, government by law with the consent of the governed, and protection from arbitrary authority.
