Afghanistan
As we speak, I am watching a fascinating MSNBC feature on Afghanistan called "Abandon All Hope". Based on the film someone should annex it. It is a tragic and hopeless country.
A quote: "Building a simple transportation network in Afghanistan would cost more than a mission to Mars"
Beautiful country, handsome people but oh so hopelessly mired in war.
